What the mock exam reproduces

This is the full simulation: 80 mixed questions drawn from every subject area, under the real 120-minute limit, with no grouping by topic. The real exam does not tell you which section a question came from, so switching between a fare rule and a bridge location with no warning is part of what you are practising.

Pacing is what the clock teaches you

120 minutes for 80 questions is about ninety seconds each. That is generous for a rules question and tight for a geography question where you have to picture a route, so the average only works if you let the easy ones be quick. Check your position against the clock a few times. If you are behind, speed up on the questions you know rather than skipping ahead.

When a question stops you

Apply a rule instead of deciding in the moment: if you cannot see a route to the answer within about a minute, pick the best option available, flag it, and move on. Never leave a question without an answer selected — an unanswered question scores zero with certainty, while a considered guess does not. Coming back at the end with fresh eyes is far more productive than grinding while the clock runs.

What to do with the result

Record your score by category, not just the total. The total tells you whether you passed; the breakdown tells you what to study next. Then read every explanation — including on questions you answered correctly, because a lucky guess and real knowledge look identical on a score sheet.
